Veronica’s practice focuses on white collar litigation and government and internal investigations. She has extensive experience representing Fortune 500 corporations in commercial, employment, and insurance litigation and arbitration. She also advises clients in investigations and proceedings brought by federal and state regulators, including the New York Department of Financial Services (DFS), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and state departments of insurance.
Veronica’s pro bono work ranges from representing clients in successful petitions for asylum to counseling nonprofit organizations in affirmative litigation.
Before joining WMH, Veronica practiced at a preeminent global law firm.
Represented a global company in in connection with a Department of Financial Services investigation.
Secured a favorable judgment for a client in a multimillion-dollar complex commercial arbitration.
Served as the lead associate on a trial team in a breach of contract action in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, resulting in a defense verdict.
