Diversity

Diversity is key to providing outstanding legal representation.

At WMH, diversity and inclusion are woven deeply into our cultural fabric. We champion these principles not because they differentiate us, but because a broader spectrum of viewpoints enriches our work and makes our team stronger.

We believe that diversity starts with equal access to career opportunities. We follow the NFL’s Rooney Rule, which requires teams to interview at least one candidate from a minority background per position. We affirmatively consider qualified women and people of color for all open partner, associate, or professional staff positions, ensuring that we are on track to create a pipeline of diverse leaders in the legal profession.

Women’s Initiative

We are dedicated to attracting, retaining, and advancing women lawyers by providing them with powerful mentoring, networking, and professional development platforms. In 2017, WMH established the Women’s Initiative to formally connect women through firm-sponsored mentorship events, community service, and pro bono activities. As part of this effort, we host prominent women from the worlds of television, film, politics, law, public service, and business, whose perspectives serve as crucial springboards in the community-building process.

WMH’s commitment to empowering women not only benefits our firm, but also our clients and communities, all of whom are paving the way for future generations of women innovators and leaders.
