WMH is proud to have helped with the pending Geraldine Santoro Act, and marshaled an extraordinary coalition, to create a Nationwide Sanctuary Network, which, among other innovations, will allow New York State to solicit private donors to fund travel and care for women to get abortions, and retain control of their own bodies. Reproductive freedom is a fundamental human right. Thank you to Assembly Member Charles Lavine for sponsoring the bill.

We hope NY passes it quickly and other progressive states follow suit to make the Network a reality.
