Paula’s practice focuses on government and internal investigations, white collar criminal defense, regulatory compliance, and complex commercial litigation.
She has represented clients under government investigation in a wide range of business crimes, including matters relating to Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, anti-money laundering, state tax fraud, and health care fraud, and has substantial experience conducting internal corporate investigations that parallel ongoing governmental investigations.
As part of her pro bono practice, Paula has represented clients in matters involving intellectual property contract disputes and guardianship proceedings.
Prior to joining WMH, Paula practiced law at a preeminent global law firm.
