Johnson is a litigator who has experience with government investigations. During law school, he clerked at the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protections and at the Securities & Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement. He also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Dolly M. Gee, District Judge in the Central District of California. He earned a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where he was co-editor in chief of the Asian Pacific American Law Journal. He is a magna cum laude graduate of SUNY Geneseo, where he received his B.A. with a dual major in Philosophy and Political Science and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
